Publish a bookmark
Publishing a bookmark gives it a public page at /explore/<id> and lists it in
Explore, where anyone, with or without an account, can fill its form
and run it. Publishing and unpublishing need Publish bookmarks (Owner and Admin by default).
Publish
Section titled “Publish”On the schema’s Bookmarks tab, open the bookmark’s actions and choose Publish, then confirm.
| Visitors see | Stays private |
|---|---|
| The bookmark’s name, description and publication note | The schema’s name and the snapshot |
| The organization’s name and logo | The models |
| The form and reports of the snapshot the bookmark points to | Other runs, members and reviews |
| The input values of the runs you mark as examples | Those runs’ outputs, authors and dates |
The page link is fixed when the bookmark is first published and never changes, even if you unpublish and publish again. Use Copy public link or Open public page in the bookmark’s actions.
Publishing is refused when a model of the snapshot is larger than the public size limit, 50 MB by default, because every public run sends the model to the runtime. A public bookmark cannot move to such a snapshot either.
Examples
Section titled “Examples”Examples let visitors fill the form from a real record. Open a saved inference of the bookmark, made on the snapshot the bookmark points to, and choose Mark as public example (needs Publish bookmarks), then confirm. A bookmark can collect examples while it is still private. Visitors can then pick its name under Start from an example and load its input values; its outputs, author and date stay private. Remove example takes it back.
An example is served only while the bookmark is public and points at the snapshot the run used. Its state says so: Served, Not served: bookmark is private or Not served: bookmark moved. Public examples in the bookmark’s actions lists them all, and the bookmark row summarizes them, for example “Serves 1 example”.
Runs from the public page
Section titled “Runs from the public page”Every public run is kept as one of the organization’s inferences with the origin Public page and the author “Visitor”, or the account’s name when the visitor is signed in. They are never deleted on their own. Visitors can review their own runs; their answers appear in the Inferences table and the export like any other reviewer’s.
Unpublish
Section titled “Unpublish”Unpublish in the bookmark’s actions makes it private again at once: it leaves Explore and its page answers “Bookmark not found”. Nothing is deleted. A superadmin can also unpublish any bookmark from Moderation.
